Me watching the DAL vs. DET. game at my aunts house in PA. DALLAS won! The series heads to dallas for a forced game 6.
I went to my cousins piano recital. This was the piano there. She taught me that if I know where middle C is I can find the rest. The "C" notes on a piano are to the left of the set of 2 black keys. Ex:
|| ||| ||
------c----
and the notes are only "A-G". The black keys are sharps or flats depending on which direction you are headed from the note. Going down (ie. playing "D" and moving back (<-) to a black key would be "Db" and forward (->) would be "D#". If the black key is next to that note; of course). I knew some of that but that bit about finding "C" just made my piano playing life a whole lot easier and I am grateful.
This road reminded me of Stephen King's "The Stand" because of how deserted it felt (it was just me); and it is near where I am currently staying. Creepy.
I also talked with my "step" uncle about his side job he's doing tomorrow. He's working on a DuPont house with tons of masonry work. It sounded like a major pain in the neck but it was very interesting to me to hear about his field and I enjoy talking with him.
